The Palmetto Grand Championship - Saturday, March 19, 2011

Universal Spirit will hold the The Palmetto Grand Championship on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Furman University - Timmons Arena in Greenville, SC. The event expects to draw all star programs of all skill levels from a three to four hour drive radius of Greenville. This event provides an excellent opportunity for your team and all star program to compete against the rest of this region.

Timmons Arena is a great venue for this event. The arena comfortably holds 2000 team members, coaches and spectators. The event features warm-up areas and a full 54 ft. X 42 ft. spring competition floor.

This event is an All Levels Qualifier. Like all Universal Spirit events, this event qualifies for Varsity Family Plan rebates.

Scoring

This event is a one-day event. Teams compete in random order within their divisions. Critique, safety and point deduction judges score your routine and these scores are combined for a total score.

A general competition schedule will be posted in the days leading up to the competition.

A detailed performance schedule will be released directly to our official contact with each team in the days leading up to the competition. Spectators and team members please contact your teams coach to get specific performance times for your team.

Results will be posted in the days following the competition.

International All Levels Championship

As a Founding Member of the All-Levels Championship, Universal Spirit is able to offer teams that compete in certain divisions at this event bids to the All-Levels Championship. Founded by a coalition of more than thirty All Star industry leaders, the "All-Levels" Championship will be the first to allow teams of all levels and sizes the opportunity to compete at an international level.

Nationals Dates Set Through 2012

Universal Spirit has created a home in Charlotte, NC. The Charlotte Convention Center will be home to the Universal Spirit Nationals through the year 2012. Universal Spirit Nationals will be held each year on Martin Luther King's birthday weekend, typically the third weekend in January. Mark your calendars now!!!
