Universal Spirit was founded with one goal in mind, providing an innovative and creative competition environment that promotes a positive experience for everyone involved, specifically coaches, cheerleaders and spectators.

• All Teams compete on a 54 ft. x 42 ft. spring competition floor
• Teams receive plenty of warm-up time (over one hour of warm-up time that includes stretching areas 54 ft. x 42 ft. warm-up floors and 12' x 42' spring tumble strips). Each team has their own allotted time for routine warm up and tumbling warm up - this means multiple teams are NOT crowding around you on a tumble strip.
• Teams receive score sheets at the awards ceremony
• Unbiased judges from a variety of cheerleading backgrounds
• Coaches determine if they want to have spotter’s on the floor with their team

Universal Spirit Partnerships for Success

Universal Spirit partners with college cheerleading programs to develop Invitationals that offer cheerleaders, from a variety of backgrounds and skill levels, the opportunity to perform and compete in a collegiate atmosphere. Our unique approach brings new exposure to our College and University partners.

Nationals Dates Set Through 2012

Universal Spirit has created a home in Charlotte, NC. The Charlotte Convention Center will be home to the Universal Spirit Nationals through the year 2012. Universal Spirit Nationals will be held each year on Martin Luther King's birthday weekend, typically the third weekend in January. Mark your calendars now!!!

USASF Tier 2 Member

Universal Spirit is excited to announce that we will be recognized as a Tier Two USASF member. This means that we are now able to offer partial paid bids to the 2010 Cheerleading and Dance Worlds.
